Though she was an incredibly wealthy heiress, a descendant of a king, and was born with stellar marriage prospects, she was also born in medieval times (approximately 1443, according to most biographers, though some believe it to be 1441). Margaret had to be tough from the beginning. It is well worth getting to know this fine medieval badass. Unless you're really into medieval English history, particularly what went down in the mid to late 1400's, you probably haven't heard of her.
